1️⃣ Do your homework: Study your target market and figure out exactly what makes them tick. What pain points are they experiencing? What makes them feel heard and understood?

2️⃣ Colour Code Emotions: The psychology of colour as it relates to marketing and the power of persuasion is very interesting and very effective. .
3️⃣ Entertain: Ads are often seen as interruptions, to the point where consumers will actually go out of their way to avoid seeing them (fast forward, mute, skip), if you want to appeal to consumer’s emotions then you have to create ads that people actually want to see!

4️⃣ Empower: Selling is about so much more than the simple exchange of goods & services. As humans, we have a natural desire to feel powerful and needed. Brands that empower consumers and feed these desires create loyal, cult-like followings. @gymshark is a great example of these.

5️⃣ Emphasize Value (not cost): Value is not the actual thing but really the benefits that you will gain from the thing. For ex, the difference between a rural home and urban home isn’t just the cost, it’s the lifestyle you will live in one vs. the other, the memories you will make, the place your children grow up, etc.

6️⃣ Focus on Solutions: What problem are you solving? How will it improve your customer’s life? Solutions go beyond the basic product features. Instead, they affect how you feel. For ex, a cleaning spray doesn’t just remove dirt, it also keeps you healthy.
