If A social platform shut down tomorrow, would you still have a business?
Be reminded of the saying, “don’t put all your eggs in one basket”. 🥚 Yet when it comes to only marketing 90% of businesses have all there eggs in one (maybe two) baskets.
Something to note, none of these platforms is owned by you. All of your accounts are simply “renting” a space on the platforms. The “landlord” (FB, IG, Twitter, Linkedin etc.) can choose to remove you or close down at any time without any notice.
This is why it’s so important to diversify yourself across multiple platforms!
And something to note… You don’t have to change for each platform.
A good piece of content can be repurposed and adjusted to fit multiple platforms.
For example… This post can/will be repurposed on IG, FB, Twitter, LinkedIn and Twitter.
All we need to do is make a few small changes to the following areas: 🖼 Image size
💬 Caption length
🗣 Tone of voice
🤪 Emojis 🕒 Posting Time
