Philomedia took shape around a kitchen table in 2020, when digital marketer Jason Howley set out to build the kind of marketing company his late aunt, Philomena Howley, would be proud of—one that worked with gentle strength, unwavering honesty, and an open hand. Philomena loved elephants, seeing in them the quiet power of empathy. Her influence lives on in our logo and in every brief we accept.
What began as a one-person venture in the west of Ireland has grown into a close-knit collective of strategists, marketers, designers, developers, writers, and analysts.

Together we cover nine core disciplines—Digital Strategy, Content, Design, Production, Development, Payments, Consultancy, Training, and Public-Sector Marketing—yet our purpose stays constant: to serve as true partners, translating truth into digital marketing that performs.
